A Statement from Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc. President, Jeb Stotter
“For the past five years, we have appreciated Sunbury Community Hospital’s, and now UPMC’s, donation of the use of the Line Street house (“House”) to the Hill Neighborhood Council. We could not accomplish everything we do without this donation.
Change is generally not easy. The Hill Neighborhood started in the House, where it has enjoyed being able to rent the second story to help offset costs to maintain the House and fund/sustain events of the organization. The House has been home to the Council. It will take some time to settle into the new location offered by UPMC, but we are grateful for UPMC’s continued support of the Hill Neighborhood community and Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc. Very few organizations have made the kind of commitment to the community that UPMC has made.
We value UPMC’s efforts to provide and expand quality medical care and services in the region. We understand that expansion, renovations, and improvements of the facility are part of this effort. We look forward to working with UPMC and seeing the great things they will do as a community partner.”
From the Hill Neighborhood Council
“Sunbury Hill Neighborhood would like to thank UPMC Susquehanna for offering us a new location to hold our meetings and to continue our good works with the community. We know that UPMC Susquehanna is a great benefit to our city and excited to see what’s to come. They have been very supportive of the HIll Neighborhood and we look forward to working with them in the future.
Our new office is located behind the hospital at the end of the Kiwanias Playground. We are on the second floor, and our entrance is behind the building. We do not have office hours at this time, you can reach us on Facebook, sunburyhillneighborhood@gm
