Vendor Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines

Vendors are an important part of our events. The requirements for vendors at each event is vastly different. We make every effort to make sure that we limit the number of duplicate vendors so that everyone has an enjoyable and profitable experience.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor for Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc. (SRI) Lake Augusta Wine and Brew Festival. Below are regulations, requirements, and rules associated with participating as a vendor at the Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival:

    1. The festival will be held rain or shine.
    2. Setup time 7:30 a.m. to 12 Noon Saturday. Vehicles must be removed from the River Front area by 12 noon on the day of the Festival.
    3. Tear down to begin no earlier than 5:00 p.m. Vehicles will not be permitted in the tear down area until all pedestrians have vacated the riverfront premises.
    4. One table and two chairs will be provided per 10×10 space. Vendors must supply their own tent. Please do not overload the electrical outlets, only one appliance per plug. Multiple cords and power strips are prohibited.
    5. All decisions of SRI and the Event Committee are final. Committee reserves the right to deny any application.
    6. Indemnification – In consideration of the use of event space designated for vendors by Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc. (“SRI”), the undersigned (“Vendor”) hereby agrees to release SRI, the City of Sunbury, Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival, Event Committee, and Event Sponsors, Board of Directors, officers, members, employees and agents from all claims whatsoever by Vendor arising from or related to Vendor’s use of space.
    7. Vendor further agrees to hold harmless, to defend and indemnify, dollar for dollar including, but not limited to costs of defense and counsel fees, SRI, the City of Sunbury, Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival, and Event Sponsors, Board of Directors, officers, members, employees and agents against any and all liability, lawsuits, claims, summons, causes of action or things whatsoever, whether for damages, fines or any other type of relief whatsoever, that may be brought against SRI, the City of Sunbury, Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival, and Event Sponsors, Board of Directors, officers, members, employees and agents by any party whatsoever, arising from or related to Vendor’s and/or its directors, officers, employees and agents activities, products, acts or omissions, whether negligent or non-negligent.
    8. Certification of Insurance – Provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance naming Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc. and Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival as “Additional Insured regarding vendor participation at “Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival” on September 16, 2017, providing a minimum of $1,000,000 liability coverage. Limited exclusions may apply.
    9. Alcohol Vendors – Provide a Certificate of Liquor Liability Insurance naming Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc. as “Additional Insured regarding vendor participation at Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival, September 17, 2016” providing a minimum of $1,000,000 liquor liability coverage. Anyone serving alcohol must be RAMP trained.
    10. Food Vendors must provide a copy of a valid Servsafe Certificate. Food Vendors must also display prices at the event.
    11. Theft – SRI, the City of Sunbury, Lake Augusta Wine & Brew Festival, and Event Sponsors, Board of Directors, officers, members, employees and agents will not be responsible for theft, accidents or loss, or damage to property belonging to Vendors.
    12. No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 30 days of the event.
    13. Vendors are responsibilities for all state sale tax laws. Failure to do so will prohibit you from exhibiting at future events.
    14. Photographs taken during the event may be used in promotional materials
    15. Food, Craft, and Wineries: 10% of “Gross Sales” Fees to be paid to Sunbury’s Revitalization Inc. Thank you!
