Every spring Sunbury’s Revitalization, Inc., with the cooperation and assistance of the City of Sunbury, beautifies downtown Sunbury with hanging flower baskets along Market Street. These beautiful flower baskets adorn intersections along Market Street and welcome visitors and residents alike to Sunbury.
The purchase of these flower baskets is funded entirely through donations from individuals and businesses in the community; if you enjoy the beauty of the baskets, please consider donating to help fund this Downtown Sunbury beautification program.

Thriller A $200 donation covers the cost and care of a new basket, bracket, hardware, and blooms. |
Filler A $100 donation covers the cost and care of a basket and blooms rehanging from year to year |
Spiller A donation of any amount helps to keep this delightful program growing year to year. |
SRI is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and your contribution is 100% tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions received in excess of actual costs will be used for other SRI programs and operating expenses.

When selecting flowers for a planter, growers use the “Thriller, Filler, Spiller” method. The thriller is the largest, most spectacular bloomer – the center of attention in the mix. Fillers are beautiful, colorful blooms that fill the space around the thriller adding depth and texture to the arrangement. The Spillers are the lovely accent pieces, usually green trailing vines that spill over the edge catching the summer breezes.
