The Divas sung by Karen Meeks performed with The Blue River Soul Created, Penned, Executive Produced and Produced by Karen and Thomasina Meeks, Produced by Rick Findlay The Diva concert is a historical, theatrical, and musical production that entertains and embodies the spirit and soul of black women who became trailblazers. We reverently celebrate the lives and music of Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James. The Diva Project promotes Unity within the Community; spreading Love through Music. – Karen Meeks
The show will be performed in an intimate, Cotton Club style setting. Doors and red carpet open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm. Period attire is highly encouraged!
